Brandon Kelly is the Vice President of Cell at Peak Energy, where he leads the development and scaling of advanced battery technologies. With a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a specialization in energy storage from Colorado State University, Brandon has extensive experience in battery material science, characterization, and product development. Prior to joining Peak Energy, he played a key role at Solid Power, where he spearheaded multi-million-dollar efforts to scale solid-state battery production for automotive applications. Brandon’s work is driven by a passion for building effective development teams and a deep understanding of battery technologies. His expertise includes launching new products, managing large-scale projects, and fostering collaborative, innovative work environments to accelerate the development of hard tech solutions.

Geoff Brown was President and CEO of Powin, a leader in commercializing 

energy storage solutions which he led from a start-up to over $2B of 

revenue over seven years. He was also Director of Microgrids at NRG 

Energy and the Director of Business Development at Beacon Power.

Prior to joining Peak, Brown founded startup company Quidnick Energy in 2024 to 

develop domestic battery manufacturing solutions.

Landon Mossburg is the co-founder and CEO of Peak Energy. He has deep experience scaling some of the most successful companies in energy, mobility, and batteries, including Tesla and Northvolt. Landon deeply believes nothing is more impactful than building a domestic battery industry capable of competing on a global scale and powering American energy independence with lower cost and greater reliability. To achieve this, he founded Peak Energy to industrialize grid-scale sodium-ion batteries to accelerate American battery leadership in one of the fastest-growing energy markets.
